Testek’s preferred control system for most production automation applications use a traditional PLC and a personal computer to provide system control that provide both reliability and connectivity. Most of our customers require a PLC to run their processes, the PC allows for a powerful HMI and information link between the PLC, operator and network systems. The PLC will control, monitor, and integrate everything in the machine process; the computer will allow the PLC to process and interface to the outside world -- operators, other processes, and higher level systems. This combination provides our systems with a powerful platform at a reasonable cost.
