Testek Inc the industry leader in the design and manufacturing of Aerospace Testing Systems for Aerospace OEM’s and MRO facilities. Testek Inc is looking for an energetic self-starter to fill our full-time entry level Sales Engineer position. This sales position will support proposals needs generated from our worldwide customer base and by our external sales team. The mission is to build and maintain a positive working relationship by listening to our client’s needs and anticipating their expectations for their aircraft testing system needs. The sales engineer is also to • Act as a liaison between Testek and our customer’s (engineer’s, purchasing manager’s etc) • Meet with assigned customers/ territories and create technical write-ups/proposals tailored to meet the customer’s equipment requirements. (travel up to 35% of time) • Attend foreign and/or domestic tradeshows • Research/develop new customers within assigned customers/ territories. The successful candidate will have a technical background, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable building and maintaining client relationships, and is a quick learner. The position is located in Wixom, MI. This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate with an engineering/technical degree either 2 or 4 year and a strong interest in technical sales. Requirements: Engineering/Technical degree (2 or 4 year) related to mechanical, electrical, science, factory automation and/or equivalent technical experience is required. Strong technical problem solving capabilities and the ability to handle multiple changing priorities required. Must be self motivated and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have sales skills to establish customer relationships in a challenging “out of box” sales environment and have a high energy “people person” personality. Previous consulting, sales or customer service experience desirable but not required.
