Matt Roberts Joins Team Testek

Testek is excited to announce that Matt Roberts has joined the Testek Team as a Program Manager. Recently, Matt retired from Honeywell after working for 30 years at the Honeywell facility in South Bend.  Matt started his career at Honeywell (Bendix Corporation) in 1981 as a mechanical engineer with the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) group. Matt held various roles in Ground Support Equipment and was the Director of Honeywell GSE from 1994 -2009. Most recently, Matt has been working in the Wheels & Brakes product line at Honeywell. Additionally, Matt held roles in Contracts, Program Management, Customer & Product Support and Marketing & Product Management. Matt has experience leading teams, establishing operating systems and managing P&Ls.

As a valued customer of Textron Systems, we wanted to make you aware of Textron Systems’ decision to license Testek, Inc. to provide design, build and manufacturing of test stands for hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical applications, servo test stands and servo valve test stands as previously manufactured by Textron Systems in Massachusetts and by Textron Systems former affiliate, HR Textron, Inc., in Valencia and Santa Clarita, California. In particular, the license covers the manufacture and delivery of STS Hydraulic Test Stands that support various versions of the F-15 and F-18 aircraft.

Although, 2011 was a very good year for TS1650 ATE orders 2012 is even better. This lastest order out of China, will be # 5 for the year. Did you know that Testek is the sole Teaming Partner and Licensee of Hamilton Sundstrand for Electrical Power Generation System Component test equipment? It’s true! GE Aviation EPISCENTER Project

GE Aviation placed an order to Testek for their new Electrical Power Integrated Systems Research and Development Center (EPISCENTER) on the University of Dayton campus in Ohio. Testek will be delivering: (1) 750 HP Generator Test Stand, (2) 1500 HP Generator Test Stand, (1) Temperature Altitude Chamber & Load Bank Farms.
